Tanneri Chaso (translates Youth Concern) is a youth-led organization dedicated to empowering young individuals by providing a platform to foster personal growth, amplify critical voices, and collaboratively tackle socio-economic challenges. Guided by our ‘Inform, Engage, Empower’ model, we ensure that young people are equipped with knowledge, actively involved, and empowered to transform their communities.

What began as an informal initiative in 2012—born out of political frustration, limited youth participation in political process, and ineffective public service delivery—was formally registered as an organization in 2017. Since then, Tanneri Chaso has been on a mission to promote accountability through evidence-based activism and citizen journalism, cultivating a culture of inquiry and informed civic engagement.

Despite being managed by a small core team, Tanneri Chaso thrives through the collective efforts of 300 active alumni members spread across the country, driving meaningful change at both local and national levels.
