With a decade of impactful initiatives, including the pioneering ‘Ghantaghar ma Ek Ghanta’ campaign, Yadav unites youth for socio-political change. As the head of ‘Hamro Abhiyan Parsa,’ he actively advocates for accountability and empowerment since 2017. Beyond leadership, Yadav’s versatile skills in debate, drama, and writing contribute to his role as a special columnist for “Khoji Jawafdehitako.”

Nabin Silwal

Meet Nabin, a dynamic leader and co-founder of Tanneri Chaso. He has steered the organization with unwavering commitment for over a decade. Originally from Dhading, his transformative journey from a Kathmandu-based student to a youth leader challenging power dynamics began with the ‘New Media and Debate Workshop.’ Under Nabin’s leadership, Tanneri Chaso has evolved into a hub for evidence-based activism, uniting youth from diverse backgrounds. His commitment to leveraging new media and establishing debate as a public platform has set him apart as a thought leader. As a seasoned trainer with a special interest in multimedia storytelling, Nabin’s strategic vision has propelled Tanneri Chaso to the forefront of impactful advocacy, making him a driving force behind positive change.

Deep Jyoti Shrestha

Meet Deep Jyoti, a passionate advocate for change and a driving force behind youth empowerment. Fueled by a desire to counteract the increasing migration of talented youths seeking opportunities abroad, Deep Jyoti chose a different path. Believing that actively questioning authorities and fostering hope could be the catalyst for change, she remained in the country. Since 2013, she has been an integral part of Tanneri Chaso, finding a platform to amplify the voices of the youth. Starting as a volunteer, Deep Jyoti quickly became indispensable, contributing to the organization’s growth and impact. Her commitment to community development, combined with a love for travel and creative pursuits, defines her multifaceted approach. As a facilitator, mentor, and creative mind, Deep Jyoti spearheads workshops, public campaigns, and collaborations. Join us in collaborating with Deep Jyoti as we work towards amplifying youth voices, fostering positive change, and building a brighter future together.

Strategy and Outreach Officer

Ganesh Budhathoki

Meet Ganesh, our Strategy and Outreach Officer at Tanneri Chaso. A founding member and recognized ‘Best Debater’ at the New Media and Debate Workshop 2011, Ganesh passionately advocates for public policies and socio-political accountability. His leadership extends beyond Tanneri Chaso, where he initiated the Gaurishankar group of youth for accountability in Dolakha. Former Bagmati Province Coordinator and currently leading key initiatives like ‘Mero Paisa Mero Chaso,’ Ganesh brings strategic thinking, collaboration skills, and governance expertise to the table. Despite his youth, he serves as the President of Himalayan Crown Academy, showcasing exceptional leadership since the age of 18. Ganesh’s dedication and passion for positive change make him an invaluable asset to both Tanneri Chaso and the communities we serve.

Shambhavi Chapagain

Meet Shambhavi, our adept Communication and Community Outreach Officer, bringing a wealth of experience in communication, youth engagement, and women empowerment programs. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Media Studies from Kathmandu University and a Master’s degree in International Community Development from Victoria University, Australia, Shambhavi combines academic prowess with practical expertise. Her journey with our team began in 2012 as a New Media and Debate participant, evolving into roles such as youth volunteer, debate trainer, and communication assistant. Even during her studies abroad, Shambhavi remained actively associated with our mission. Now, having returned, she steps into her current role, seamlessly integrating her skills and passion to drive impactful communication and community outreach initiatives.

Audio Video Producer

Aayush Shrestha

Meet Aayush, our dynamic Audio Video Producer and passionate multimedia enthusiast. Aayush’s journey with Tanneri Network began in 2016 when his vlogging and storytelling passion led him to volunteer at an outdoor event. Since then, he has become an integral part of Tanneri Chaso programs, dedicating his skills to capturing compelling visual stories nationwide. Aayush’s commitment shone during the Clean Election Capable Candidate Campaign, where he actively participated. Recognized for his expertise, he now spearheads digital campaigns like ‘Question on Good Governance,’ showcasing his leadership in the multimedia realm while continuing to contribute his talents to the team.

Sushila Thapa Magar

Sushila Thapa Magar is a dedicated intern at our organization, bringing her passion for social work to the forefront. Currently pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Sushila possesses a strong sense of honesty and dedication, making her an asset to the team.

Sushila’s eagerness to learn is a commendable quality that shines through during her intern period. Her commitment to personal growth and development is truly inspiring, as she actively seeks opportunities to expand her knowledge and skills. This learning mindset greatly contributes to her success as an intern.

As an intern, Sushila plays a crucial role in documenting evidence of governance and corruption from daily newspapers. Her responsibilities involve meticulously recording and archiving these evidences, both physically and online, on the organization’s website, mygov.tannerichaso.net. Through her diligent work, she helps create a repository of valuable information that contributes to raising awareness and advocating for positive change.

Additionally, Sushila provides invaluable assistance to the Communication and Documentation Officer in creating digital content for social media platforms. Her contribution to disseminating various issues the organization raises helps amplify their impact and reach a wider audience. Furthermore, she aids in the narration and creation of audiovisual content, utilizing her skills to effectively communicate the organization’s message.

Sushila’s enthusiasm and passion as a youth are evident in her work. Despite her relatively short time with the organization, she quickly familiarizes herself with our projects, issues, and skills, actively contributing her part.
